The Brothers at OTAA first came across the iconic houndstooth check pattern in the Scottish Lowlands, in search of the Loch Ness monster. Their search for Nessy didn’t yield much success (although the younger brother did spot a fetching marlin), but the sailor on their riverboat had exquisite taste in clothing, offering each of the thread-weaving Brothers the secrets of his houndstooth weave.

The checks of blush pink and creamy white contrast beautifully to elicit a rare and refined ebullience from the lightly shimmering satin weave, conceptualised in the Melbourne based craft-house of OTAA.
